Victoria’s P.O.V

I hit the wall and can’t open my eyes. My head hurts, I am not unconscious, but I can’t get my eyes to open. Seamus thinks I’m asleep, and I hear the door come off the hinges. I hear a scuffle, I think Lliam is winning. Now it is quiet. What is happening? I wish I could see. My dad, I hear him. He is talking to Lliam for a few minutes, they are talking about me, about what happened. I am glad Lliam made up a story, I don’t want my dad to know that his driver did this to me. My dad kisses my head and leaves.

Lliam is talking to me now. He knows that I am awake, my eyes start opening. “So, the story is that someone came in my window, you scared them off and phone the police right?” I ask. “You heard that?” “Well, I was awake, I just couldn’t move or open my eyes. I think I was to scared or something. I could hear everything though. None of this is your fault Lliam, don’t think it is. You got here in time to save me from being raped. I would rather have a few bumps and bruises than be forced into having sex with that monster! By the way, where is he now?”

Lliam explains to me that Seamus is tied up in my head scarves in the car outside and that he is going to take him to the queen for punishment. I do not want to know what that entails. As I already knew, I am going to spend the night at Lliam’s tonight. I start to get my bags packed. I am really excited to see my fiancé’s house. While I am packing, he drives Seamus to his mum so that I don’t have to ride in the car with him.

About an hour later, Lliam comes back. It is ten o’clock at night and unusually dark outside. We walk to his car and he opens the door for me. I slide in, he has the seat warmers turned up so my butt stays nice and warm. We talk about the wedding a little and he explains to me that I am his mate. We really were made for each other, destined to be together. I knew it. We are to discuss wedding plans with his mother, the queen, tomorrow evening over dinner.

We pull up into his circular driveway. Even though it is so dark, his house looks like a castle. It looks like something from the olden days when royalty roamed freely through the world. Well, I suppose, he is royalty. I smile at the though, and Lliam giggles. “You know, it is not polite to listen to what people think all the time.” We both laugh.

We climb out of his car and into the cold, dark night. He leads me through the main entrance of his house and gives me a petite tour, not the grand tour as he says.
